A member of our committee, Christian Pettinger, one of the authors of the publication "THE TANK ACCIDENT in Hesperange, December 26, 1944" vistied the Mayor of the city of Warren in Ohio, Doug Franklin. The authors' research on Corporal James G. Russ, who was in the tank crashed in Hesperange, led them to the Russ family of Warren, Ohio.
